More development in the heart of Chamblee has gotten the green light.
A new mixed-use project consisting of retail space and loft-style condos was approved by the Chamblee City Council on Tuesday.
Located on Chamblee Dunwoody Road near the Chamblee MARTA station, the development will be called “The Gordon,” officials said. It will include 56 condo units spread out across three buildings, with retail on the ground floor and a 2,000-square-foot deck on the roof.
The one-bedroom and two-bedroom lofts, which will be owner-occupied, will range in cost from $200,000 to just over $400,000. Crews will break ground on the buildings this fall, and they could be completed by late next year, according to the developer, Windsor Stevens.
