New Chamblee mixed-use project promises ‘an energized residential and retail destination’

An Atlanta developer is proposing a new mixed-use development in Chamblee that it promises will be “an energized residential and retail destination.”

Windsor Stevens Holdings plans 56 condominium units and 7,000 square feet of ground-floor retail on 1.3 acres at 3543 and 3553 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, a quarter mile from the Chamblee MARTA station. To be called “The Gordon,” the project will have three, four-story buildings, according to plans filed with the city of Chamblee.

“The Gordon transforms two vacant properties along the Chamblee Dunwoody Corridor into a 69,118 square foot mixed-use development supporting the Downtown Chamblee Town Center,” the developer says. “The two-building project includes 56 condominiums and 7,000 square feet of retail space. The Gordon’s brick exterior with arcade and Juliet balconies stimulate visual interest as does the amenity deck bridging the two buildings. Surface parking and parking beneath the buildings will accommodate residents and visitors. The Chamblee Dunwoody frontage will be transformed with a hardscaped patio inviting visitors and residents to enjoy the site and connect, including those utilizing the Rail Trail path on the north/northwest side of the property.”
